PIPEDA Inquiry Process
As part of our adherence with PIPEDA, a customer can reach out to our privacy officer; this can be used to ask general questions related to our privacy policies/measures, or you can ask him to do any of the tasks listed below:
- What did I enter in field “x”?
- How was my info used?
- Where was my info disclosed?
- Where was my info obtained?
- Amend info that was entered incorrectly due to an error on our end.
To ensure you receive the best service possible we recommend you follow the steps below when requesting an action from our privacy officer:
- Send your email to Privacy@nexushealth.ca; please ensure it has a specific request or question.
- To confirm your identity we will ask for your first name, last name, and one or more random fields of data that you had entered (if applicable, e.g what did you enter as your blood type?).
- Once we've verified your identity we will process your request.
- Once completed, we will reply to the original email thread confirming the actions we've taken.
